I reached financial independence and semi-retired in my mid-40's through hard work, smart living, and investing. This blog chronicles my journey and explores many aspects of personal finance including the psychological and behavioral factors that drive our habits.
Haha… Yeah, Saturday & Sunday are suddenly the overwhelming days where your routines are now filled with other people and slow moving. Parks are busy. Grocery stores are packed.
Then again, they do have the one benefit of it being the days when you can finally get ahold of all of your working friends for some fun adventures!
Turnip FIRE! is like, real fake news. I mean, there’s fake news that’s meant to be real, and then fake news that’s meant to be fake. The fake news that’s meant to be real is like, actual fake news. Turnip FIRE! is fake fake news…. okay now I’m confused…. Anyhoo, don’t take any Turnip FIRE! stories seriously. Just don’t.
I concur! 😉
Nice choice for a blog name!
I need to print this out and put it somewhere I can see it everyday – for motivation!! 😉
Like children’s fridge-art!

I burst out laughing seeing this
funny cuz it’s true!
No doubt about it. Blue bars are pretty much my life right now. slight differences would be Friday would be a bit higher and Sundays quite a bit less.
This is a great chart Dave. Kudos
Thanks!
I should make a graphic for having a job I like pre-100% remote work and post-100% remote work. Won’t be as cool as your bars though.
great idea!

Very true, I often have to put up with crowded trails and climbing areas to do adventures with my friends. Life could be worse 🙂
So so true!
