Life’s too short to comment regularly, but I still love your blog!

Life’s sometimes too short to write a blog post too. Nice short one. Have a great day in the outdoors and we will too!

Susan! Yes life is too short to sometimes write a full blog post and this idea popped in my head on a run and when seeing cleaners come to my neighbors house twice a month ($300). I hope you are well!

Long time reader who loves your blog. My husband and I are in our mid 50s with retirement just around a very short corner. After sitting in front of a computer for work all day, I love the physical satisfaction of cutting grass, cleaning the house, walking the dog, and even shovelling snow. I can only hope we’re healthy enough to continue this into our 80s. And yeah, doing this work instead of “outsourcing” has also saved us a happy amount of money over the years. 🙂

Thanks for the kind words and for being a longtime reader Mary! Yes I agree fully about the upside of chores and I did a post about it way back in 2019. Chop wood, carry water, and keep moving 🙂
