Comcast Raising Everyone’s Bill For Shits And Giggles
PHILADELPHIA, PA – In a corporate announcement today, Comcast Inc. said it will be raising monthly charges of customers across the board just for shits and giggles. “Comcast continues to provide the best possible services and technologies for our customers, so we’re raising prices for 2020,” the company said in a statement to Turnip FIRE! When pressed about the reason for the hikes they stated “Mostly for shits, probably some for giggles. Yep, that’s it. For shits and giggles.”
Does it surprise me though? Nope.
That’s a great example of Inflation at it’s core…An increase in price and a decrease in purchasing power of your money.

Does it surprise me? No.
It is inflation in a nutshell. The cost of a service increasing as our purchasing power for that cost decreases.
I wish more people would understand why their rent, utility services, basic products, and food increase over time. Once you people understand what inflation does to their purchasing power, then you can begin to see the true value and meaning of investing.
